Scope
This document applies to KAMOZA AI Integration and the WhatsApp services connected through it. Separate terms may apply to other products and services.
Who is responsible for the data
KAMOZA AI Integration is developed and maintained by KAMOZA AI Studio (ИП KAMOZA, an individual entrepreneur), owned by Dmitriy Kamoza. We are based in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan. For questions about data processing, contact info@kamoza.kz.
The application is intended to connect WhatsApp business accounts, process enquiries, automate replies and hand conversations over to a company employee.
If you communicate with a company that is a KAMOZA client, that company determines the purposes of serving its customers. KAMOZA processes the data entrusted to it within the agreed service and the permissions granted. This policy does not replace the policy of the company you communicate with.
What data is processed
The data involved depends on the enabled features and the permissions granted by the company. The application may process:
- The administrator’s name and identifier provided by Meta during authorisation.
- Identifiers of business portfolios, WhatsApp accounts, messaging accounts and business phone numbers.
- The other participant’s phone number or identifier, available profile name, message text and supported attachments.
- Message times and identifiers, sending, delivery and read statuses, and error information.
- The content and settings of message templates.
- Contacts and chat history, if the company authorises their transfer when enabling the relevant Coexistence features.
- Information the participant provides to have an enquiry handled: a name, contact details and the content of a question or request.
- Technical information about the integration’s operation, including authorisation events, server requests and errors.
Access to an account and its data is granted through Meta’s tools. Integration secrets are used for authorised operations with the connected account.
Why the data is used
Data is needed to connect and maintain the integration, receive messages and prepare replies, hand conversations over to an employee, handle enquiries, manage templates, synchronise authorised data and resolve errors.
The client company ensures that it has the grounds required to process its conversation participants’ data for its service, including consent where required. An administrator’s access to the integration does not replace the grounds for processing the data of that company’s customers.
Visiting this page alone does not constitute consent to every use of data. Additional features and their associated data transfers are enabled when the necessary permissions and grounds are in place.
KAMOZA does not sell conversation content or use it to advertise third-party products independently.
Server and external services
KAMOZA’s main server intended for this integration is located in Kazakhstan. It uses a hosting provider’s infrastructure.
Meta and WhatsApp operate the platform and deliver messages, processing data under their own terms. The company you communicate with receives enquiry information to serve its customer. KAMOZA has access within the integration and support tasks entrusted to it.
Having our server in Kazakhstan does not mean that Meta, WhatsApp and connected external services process data exclusively in Kazakhstan. Such processing may take place abroad. The necessary grounds for transfers and user notifications must be established before a feature is enabled.
If the bot uses AI
Some projects use artificial intelligence systems to prepare replies and automate enquiry handling. These systems may run on the company’s own servers or on the infrastructure of a selected AI service provider.
When this feature is enabled, the AI system may process messages, conversation excerpts, instructions and other enquiry information needed for its operation. The data transferred is limited to the task of the enabled feature.
Before such processing begins for a particular project, the client company and affected users are informed of the AI system used, its operator, the data involved and processing purposes, processing locations, retention periods and data-use terms, including possible use for model training. Where consent is required, it is obtained before data is transferred.
Processing terms depend on the selected system and its settings. An external AI service may process data outside Kazakhstan. For information about the AI features of a particular project, contact the company you communicate with or KAMOZA at info@kamoza.kz.
AI replies may contain errors. To clarify an answer or continue receiving assistance, you can ask for your enquiry to be handed over to a company employee.
How long data is kept
Data is retained to the extent and for the time needed to handle an enquiry, operate the connected service and meet applicable obligations. Retention periods for a particular live project are agreed with the client company and communicated before the relevant processing begins.
Once the processing purpose has been fulfilled, the service has ended or a justified request has been received, data is deleted or anonymised unless there are grounds for further retention. Some information may be kept when necessary to meet a mandatory requirement or handle a dispute.
This policy does not establish a single automatic deletion period for all projects. You can request information about the applicable retention period and deletion procedure from the company you communicate with or from KAMOZA at info@kamoza.kz.
Deletion from KAMOZA’s systems does not automatically delete messages on participants’ devices or information held independently by Meta, the client company or other providers under their own terms.
Who has access
Access to integration data is granted to authorised company representatives and specialists who need it to carry out agreed tasks. The technical and organisational safeguards depend on the project’s actual configuration.
The company manages the permissions it grants through Meta’s tools and may revoke the application’s access. Hosting, access and data-processing arrangements for a particular client project are agreed before launch.
Your requests and deletion
You can request information about the processing of your data, correction of inaccuracies, withdrawal of consent, an end to processing or deletion, subject to the applicable grounds.
Email info@kamoza.kz with your WhatsApp number or account identifier, the company’s name and the nature of your request. We may ask for minimal additional information to verify your authority. A password, one-time code or access token is not required.
If data is processed on behalf of a client company, the request is coordinated with that company’s responsible representative. We will inform you of the outcome or explain what information is needed and why some data may be retained.
Step-by-step instructions are available on the data deletion page.
Disconnecting WhatsApp
A company administrator can revoke the application’s permissions in Meta’s settings. For a number connected through Coexistence, disconnection is also available in WhatsApp Business: Settings → Account → WhatsApp Business Platform → Disconnect account. Menu labels may vary by application language and version.
Revoking access stops further integration activity within the revoked permissions, but does not replace a request to delete data processed previously.
Changes and contact details
When application features or processing terms change, we update this page and its revision date. If a change requires additional notice or consent, these are provided before the relevant processing takes place.
